15 stars for a photo tour to Venice and Slovenia Autumn 2024 I made a 8 days photo tour with Giulio to Venice and Slovenia. It was a tailor-made tour which he made regarding my wishes, preferences and my abilities. And his suggestion was perfect – as always! In Venice where we were the last days of October, we made very long days to avoid the crowd and to get so stunning photos. We saw the well-known places as well as several hidden gems. Five points for Venice! From Venice, he drove me safely to Slovenia where our basis was in Bled. Slovenia is enchanting – impressive nature, many small photogenic churches or chapels on hilltops, a friendly and young capital Ljubljana. Being there in November meant we saw foliage as well as foggy areas. So further five points for Slovenia. Giulio offered me a perfect tour regarding all my wishes. When I needed help, I got it. And most welcome was also his feedback to improve my abilities. So also, for Giulio Five stars. There was no place too far or too difficult to reach – Giulio made everything possible to make the trip unforgettable! And he was successful. I will never forget that tour and I’m sure we will continue this tour in one of the coming years. This tour was the best tour I ever made and I can only thank you, Giulio, for all your work, your enthusiasm and your support!

What an amazing photo tour! I found Giulio via recommendations, I searched on his website and wrote to Giulio about availability and the tour's set up details. He immediately replied and asked about equipment and interest. We kept contact regarding details prior our photo tours. I was very satisfied with Giulio's commitment, excellent planning, services. It was an amazing tour. Giulio is an excellent, professional photographer and guide, providing safe, interesting, fun, an awesome tour! My boyfriend is an amateur photograph and wanted to immerse himself shoot in manual mode. Giulio was an exceptional teacher, sharing photography tips, shooting principles and for each shot he provided advice for positioning and settings. After the tour with Giulio, my boyfriend said: from now I will shoot in manual mode, I have learned so much from him. Giulio gave attention and patience to all tour's participant and was very helpful in pointing out different photo perspectives along with technical tips. I gave this tour to my boyfriend as a birthday gift, and he LOVED it. This is one of the best tours he has ever done. Thank you Giulio! This is an exceptional tour that we cannot recommend enough!

What an unforgettable Photography workshop in Venice and Slovenia! Giulio’s seven-day photography workshop was truly exceptional. He meticulously planned it, to make sure we would be out shooting to take advantage of golden hour, blue hour, and even nocturnal shoots, so that we could capture Venice’s most iconic and charming locations as well as the fascinating Slovenia’s misty landscapes, typical churches, and beautiful lakes, always in their best light. It was very clear to me that Giulio really enjoys to share his twenty years’ experience in professional photography with his clients: In fact, he was always ready to provide useful advice on composition, long exposures, and even creative techniques, like ICM or the use of light in street-photography. Along the shooting hours, the portfolio reviews and the post-production sessions, which were invaluable, it was exactly his enthusiasm and his care for the participants of the tour, that made this trip to Venice and Slovenia very inspiring. So, I must say that, in my experience, and I took several similar tours in the past years, this workshop was more than just a photography tour: I felt engaged, challenged, and inspired to refine my skills. After seven days of beautiful walks through Venice maze and lush Slovenian sceneries, I went back home with a collection of images I am truly proud of. Whether you are a beginner, an amateur, or even an experienced photographer Giulio’s tour will surely elevate your craft... while having fun. Don’t miss it.
